Lolaloca
E-commerce of handmade pet accessories: every order funds meals and care for stray cats and dogs.

Overview
Lolaloca is a solidarity e-commerce that blends Italian craftsmanship and social impact: every purchase funds meals and veterinary care for strays. It is not a shop that donates a percentage at year end; it is a model where the donation happens at the very moment of purchase.
The whole product is designed around an always-visible impact counter that turns a transaction into a concrete gesture. The catalog of dog and cat accessories is browsed with search and filters by species, category and sustainability, and each product page tells the impact of that purchase.
Cart and checkout build in the donation logic with round-up: the amount is rounded up and the difference goes to the project, without friction and without complicated choices for the buyer. It is a product detail that moves the impact bar.
There is also a strategy page documenting corporate sponsorship tiers and the unit economics of the model, because a solidarity project only lives if it stands economically. Transparency about the numbers, not just good intentions.
Built on Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4 and Supabase, Lolaloca shows how commerce can be designed to do good by default: generosity not as an exceptional act, but as part of the flow.
