Golden Goose Workforce

The Golden Goose Workforce is a demand-driven workforce planning tool for Golden Goose stores. In luxury retail, weekly planning is a delicate balance between expected traffic, people's availability and contractual rules.

The Ask AI assistant is the heart of the experience: it exposes 21 actions in 8 groups, with tool-calls, confirm-before-execute and an audit trail. This is not a generic chatbot, but an agent that can act on a specific domain and asks for confirmation before doing so.

The capacity and rules engine shows a visible score, so planners immediately see the consequences of their choices. Final plans publish to Zucchetti, closing the loop between optimization and the HR system the company already uses.

There was also significant performance work: optimizations cut query rounds from 8-14 to 2 and brought perceived navigation to 19-48 ms locally. That is two orders of magnitude you can feel, especially in an app used every week.

Built with Next.js, Supabase with RLS, next-intl, Puppeteer for export and an OpenAI-compatible backend, the tool passes 18/18 tests locally and 8/8 in production, with 493 i18n keys in parity across six languages. Quality here is an operational requirement, not a luxury.
